The IDEAL® Clamp Meter (model 61-737) is a reliable tool perfect for professionals who need accuracy. Rated CAT III, this auto-ranging, TRMS digital clamp meter can measure up to 400 Amps AC via its clamp head, and up to 600V AC/DC, plus frequency, resistance, continuity, capacitance, and diodes using the included test leads. Additionally, it can measure temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius using the included K-Type thermocouple. Equipped with a non-contact voltage sensor in the clamp tip, it can detect the presence of voltage between 40V and 600V. Its large display is backlit, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. An illuminated red LED and audible tones provide alerts for voltage above 30 volts, continuity detection, and NCV sensing within its range. For convenience, the clamp head features a built-in probe tip holder, allowing for one-handed operation. The meter also includes a hanging strap mount, compatible with our Universal Magnetic Hanging Strap (model UMHS-757), enabling it to be suspended using a nail/screw or from magnetic surfaces. Key functions such as HOLD, MIN/MAX, Relative, Range, and selectable Auto Power Off enhance its usability. The meter comes with three 1.5V AAA batteries and a storage pouch with a belt loop, providing easy access and organization for the meter, probes, and thermocouple.
